We do not plan to rely on third-party AI forever. Every interaction, every story, every world event builds the data foundation for models we will train ourselves — built specifically for immersive storytelling and living worlds.
THE VISION
The hardest part of Sword Art Online was never the headset. It was the world — the living NPCs, the persistent memory, the reactive systems that make a world feel real.
We are building that world now. In text, because that is where AI is mature enough to do it right. By the time full-immersion VR hardware catches up, the world will already be alive.
Part of that journey is owning the intelligence that powers it. We are building toward proprietary AI models — trained not on the internet, but on the worlds our players have built together.
